Nayanthara starts with Anamika

Nayanthara is said to have started to work in the Tamil-Telugu remake of the super-duper hit Bollywood film Kahaani which had the national award-winning Vidya Balan essaying with aplomb the character of a heavily-pregnant who is made to run from pillar to post in search of her missing husband.

Top heroines in Tamil seldom take up such challenging (and deglamourized) roles as they are apprehensive of their fans’ reaction and the possibility of them getting flooded with such offers in their future films as well. It is said that among the frontline heroines who were offered to star in the Tamil-Telugu remake of Kahaani, none of them responded positively except for the sole exception of Nayanthara.

Unconfirmed reports say that the actress, who appears to have put behind her past and turbulent affair with Prabhu Deva, has already started shooting for Anamika, Tamil-Telugu remake of Kahaani. In order to get the body language of a pregnant woman, Nayanthara was made to undergo a week-long rigorous schedule to train in various aspets: how the pregnant women walk, bend, turn around, etc.

The training is over and the film has even gotten off to the floors, the reports point out on condition of anonymity. Nayanthara, who had earlier turned down the offer to star in the Tamil remake of Vidya’s The Dirty Picture, is said to be acting with involvement in the Tamil-Telugu remake of Kahaani.
