Venkat Prabhu's forthcoming movie "Biriyani" is definitely one of the most awaited films of 2013. Karthi and Hansika are playing lead roles in "Biriyani" and Karthi is said to be looking in a never-seen-before new look in this 'Biriyani'. Shooting of the major portions of the film have been completed and currently the film is in final stages of production with one or two small schedules left.
"Biriyani" teaser trailer has been unveiled by the makers on the eve of actor Karthi’s Birthday on May 25. The teaser trailer is packed with action and comedy.
The film is a comedy-suspense drama that revolves around Karthi and Premji Amaran, Biryani buffs, who go all the way to Ambur, the city that is famous for Biriyani, where a murder happens and they're are held for it. Ramki, Nithin Satya, Madhumita are playing the supporting roles and Vaibhav, Mahat Raghavendra, Vijay Vasanth and Arvind Akash will be seen in cameo roles.
Interestingly, "Biriyani" also records the 100th movie for Yuvan, who has composed for almost 900 tracks so far. Cinematography is by Shakthi Saravanan and editing is by Praveen K. L. and N. B. Srikanth.
