Over the past few days, there were several reports in the media that, yesteryear Tamil actress Radha Nair's younger daughter Thulasi Nair who made her Kollywood debut with Mani Ratnam's "Kadal" is cast opposite veteran actor Vijaykanth's son Shanmuga Pandian in his debut movie. It is also strongly rumoured in Kollywood circles that director Hari will wield the megaphone for the movie.But Thulasi Nair’s sister Karthika took to her Twitter page to slam the report soon after it hit the net.
"Guys, the recent issue of Ananda Vikadan magazine said that Thulasi is acting with Vijaykanth sir's son is false," Karthika said in her tweet.
Thulasi recently finished shooting for upcoming Tamil action "Yaan" alongside Jiiva, while Karthika is busy shooting for "Brindavana", Kannada remake of Telugu blockbuster "Brindavanam".
Thulasi and Karthika are daughters of yesteryear Tamil actress Radha Nair.
