Anjali alleges harassment by her Step Mom and director

Anjali, the sought-after actress in Tamil cinema with several hits under her belt, is facing personal problems. Anjali has reportedly stated that she has been harassed by director Kalanjiyam and her step mother Bharathi Devi. She has added that both of them have looted all the money from her. She is planning to leave Chennai and relocate to Hyderabad.

Anjali who is currently in Hyderabad, says that her step mother forced her work round-the-clock and lived a happy life with her money. She also reportedly leveled charges against film-maker Kalanjiyam. 'He has been advising my step-mother on various issues and I fear that I might be attacked by them if come to Chennai now,' she was quoted as saying.

She is also planning to lodge a complaint against both of them. Director Kalanjiyam has trashed the rumours and he has stated that he doesn’t have any relationship with her family to go the extent of torturing her. Also, Bharathi Devi has expressed shock over the allegations made by Anjali.

The 'Engeyum Eppodhum' girl has made her mark in Tamil cinema doing roles that demands both performance and glamour. Much recently her films including Kalakalappu and Engeyum Epodhum took her to greater heights. Even in neighbouring Telugu cinema she managed to leave her mark with "SVSC" acting alongside the likes of Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu.
