High budgeted Jilla -

After completing the shooting of Thalaiva in Australia, the cast and crew has returned to Chennai. The film which has Vijay, Amala Paul, Sathyaraj and Suresh in the cast is being directed by A L Vijay. G V Prakash is composing the music while Nirav Shah is handling the camera.

The crew had been to Australia for the final schedule of shooting which took place for 25 days. Vijay introductory scene, Vijay- Amala Paul romantic sequences and a song sequence was shot there.

Since the shooting of Thalaiva has been completed, Vijay will be taking rest for some time. After this he will start acting in the film titled Jilla produced by R B Choudary. Jilla will be a high budgeted film. So far none of Vijay’s films has been produced at this cost. Kajal Agarwal and Malayalam super star Mohanlal will be sharing the screen with Vijay in Jilla. The film which has the music of Imman is being directed by debutant director Nesan. The shooting of this film will commence during the second week of May in Pollachi.
