The latest buzz from the film industry is that, Ashritha Shetty who is making her debut with Siddharth in "Udhayam NH4" has been roped as female lead in Dhanush's next movie under Vetrimaaran’s direction.Ashritha was first noticed by Vetri Maaran through a Fresh Face contest held by a leading daily. This prompted him to cast her opposite Siddharth in Udhayam NH4 which is being directed by his former assistant, Manimaran.
The young heroine has been informed by Vetri Maaran that he plans to cast her but she’s still keeping her fingers crossed as nothing has been confirmed yet.
Currently Dhanush is busy shooting for his Bollywood movie Raanjhnaa. Sonam Kapur is playing the female lead and Abhay Deol is playing a prominent role. Dhanush is also working under A.Sarkunam direction for Naiyandi which has Malayalam actress Nazriya Nazim as the female lead.
