Sridevi the sensational actress of 80s and 90s, made a successful comeback to Hindi films with last year’s 'English Vinglish'. The movie released in Tamil as "Aangilam Vaangilam". While Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan was seen doing a cameo in the Hindi version, Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar performed the same role in the Kollywood version. Ajith reportedly didn’t take a single penny for his role in English Vinglish as he was a great fan of Sridevi and had said he felt honoured to have been cast in the role.

The 49-year-old while participating in the Tamil version of Kaun Banega Crorepathi, Neengalum Vellalaam Oru Kodi revealed her wish to work with Ajith Kumar. The TV serial host Prakash Raj asked Sridevi that whom does she prefer to share the screen space with and the actress’ instant answer was Ajith.

Earlier, after working together in Aangilam Vaangilam, the actress had claimed that she was impressed by the humble and down-to-earth attitude of Ajith Kumar. Sridevi said that she do not see much Kollywood films but she often watches Tamil channels. Her other favourite movies were Ghajini and Kaakha Kaakha. However, other than the Thala, the actress likes Vikram, Surya and Dhanush in the lot of actors.

Sridevi has performed in many Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada films. Her recent Hindi film includes 'Halla Bol' where she played herself as a guest star.
