Legendary singer P.B.Sreenivas is no more.

 Legendary playback singer Kalaimamani P.B.Sreenivas passed away today, the 14th of April, in Chennai at the age of 82. He suffered a heart attack and breathed his last at around 1 pm. He began his career in 1952 with the Hindi movie Mr.Sampath, and has rendered 1000s of songs in languages like Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam. In Tamil, he was famous for the numerous songs he sang for Gemini Ganesan. He also sang many devotional songs in his mesmerizing voice. Recently, his voice featured in movies like Aayirathil Oruvan and 7G Rainbow Colony. Behindwoods prays for the departed soul to rest in peace and offers its condolences to the family of the deceased.
