Shruti Haasan slips near swimming pool

Stars getting injured during shooting of some action sequences happen once in a while, but an actor getting injured while talking is something new. Shruti Haasan, while on the sets of Ramaiyya Vastavaiyya, seems to have slipped near the swimming pool and hurt herself. The buzz is that the actress was in conversation with the film's director Prabhu Deva on how to enact the particular scene when she slipped suddenly.

Hurting herself badly, Shruti Haasan was rushed to a private hospital for treatment after first-aid on the sets. The doctors advised her complete rest of the day and hence the shooting was cancelled, stated sources. However, Shruti was back to form the very next day and participated in the shooting.

Ramaiya Vastavaiya, a love story, also features Girish Kumar, Sonu Sood, Vinod Khanna, Randhir Kapoor and Poonam Dhillon. The film produced by Tips Industries Limited and Kumar Taurani, is slated for releases next year on June 7, 2013.
