Arya-Nayan wedding invitation promo campaign wins first round

The wedding invitation that created a serious buzz in the industry circle, it appears so, wins the first round, as it has created necessary curiosity amongst the audience.

The promo invite is made for Arya-Nayan film Raja Rani directed by Atlee and produced by Fox Star Studios and A.R. Murugadoss Productions.

The 40-second teaser and the first look of the movie, starring the hit 'Boss Engira Baskaran' pair, which was released yesterday, has already created a buzz among the audiences.

When asked the director about the thought behind this promo and he says, "As the title suggests, the subject is about a husband and wife. We have seen several movies about a guy falling in love, but I wanted to showcase the feel-good love between a husband and wife."

The idea, he says, is to make the audience connect with the theme of the film.

About the casting, he says that Arya and Nayanthara are seen as a good combination.

Audience will relate to their chemistry on screen and he hopes that'll work in favour of the movie.

Initially, the makers were a bit reluctant to float the wedding invite promo, but nevertheless, it fit the theme of the film perfectly and was an honest promotional plan.

Though he was hesitant to approach the two actors with this idea, they readily agreed once they heard it as they know the storyline of the movie.
