Ajith and Vijay have a Biryani connection

Two of the biggest stars of Tamil film industry seem to have a connection with Venkat Prabhu's Biriyani. The director who is known to have a good rapport with his actors was in the news when the lead actor of his last film Ajith, made some hot biryani on the sets on Mankatha for the entire unit. Moreover, the actor recently revealed that though he is not acting in Biriyani, he is very much a part of the project as is the title.

And here goes the Ilayathalapathy Vijay connection. Apparently, Venkat Prabhu had planned a one liner for Biriyani to discuss with Vijay, but at last the film fell into the lap of Karthi. The teaser trailer of Biriyani was released yesterday as a Karthi Birthday Special and the teaser already garnered praises from all. Karthi has also sung for a number in the movie. This is the first time that Karthi has taken to the mic for a song.
