Pooja's next with Hollywood director in Vidiyum Mun

Actor Pooja Umashankar, who last appeared in Drohi in Tamil, is back to K-town after three years.

The actor won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for her performance as visually-challenged girl in director Bala’s Naan Kadavul, but her other projects that followed didn’t take her to the next level.

Now, she is part of a film titled Vidiyum Mun and Balaji K. Kumar, who has the award-winning Hollywood film Nine Lives of Mara to his credit, is the director of the film.

The film will show case the prowess of two women who escape from the clutches of four villains in a single day.

Malavika Kuttan who was the winner of reality show in a Malayalam channel will be the other woman.

Naan Mahan Alla-fame Vinoth Kishan, Lakshmi Ramakrishna and John Vijay form the rest of the cast.

Khayum Studios is producing the film, which will hit the screens soon.
